Terms of Use

Who you are dealing with
This website and the System Design Interview Workbook are published by Ashvinee Nagle ("we", "us"). By using this site or buying the workbook, you agree to these terms.
What you are buying
The workbook is a digital product: a 127-page professionally designed PDF you download after purchase. There is no subscription, no account, and no recurring charge. Purchase of Volume 1 includes free access to future revisions of Volume 1. Later volumes are separate products.
Your licence
You get a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the workbook for your own personal preparation. You may read it on your own devices and print a copy for yourself.
You may not:
- share, resell, sublicense, or publicly post the file or its contents;
- use it for paid teaching, bootcamps, or interview-coaching services without a separate written licence;
- use it as training data for machine-learning models;
- remove or obscure attribution.
For team, classroom, or company licences, email contact@practicesystemdesign.com.
Payment
Checkout, payment processing and invoicing are handled by Gumroad as merchant of record; Gumroad's own terms apply to that transaction. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change; the price you paid is the price that applies to your purchase.
No guarantee of an interview outcome
The workbook is educational material. It contains worked reference solutions, capacity estimates based on stated assumptions, and a self-grading rubric. Hiring bars, interview formats and infrastructure economics vary by company and change over time. Nothing here is a promise of a job offer, a particular interview result, or professional advice, and the reference designs are teaching models rather than production blueprints.
Intellectual property
All text, diagrams, rubrics and site design are owned by us and protected by copyright.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the workbook or this site is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
